Shoes - Designed
for the Diabetic Foot
- Covered by Medicare
- Comfortable
- Lightweight
- All sizes and four widths
- Select from many Styles and Colors
- Designed for the Diabetic foot
Our Diabetic shoes were designed with
the input of patients and professionals. We discovered
that many people with Diabetes have trouble finding
a shoe that is comfortable. This is why we have additional
depth in our shoes to accommodate a diabetic insole
that is custom fit for the patient's foot.
A rocker bottom coupled with a rigid shank
aid in re-aligning ground forces and encourages a
normal gait. The shoe is lightweight with a secure
closure that ensures the shoe securely stays on to
protect the foot.
The therapeutic shoebill is very specific.
Not all shoes fit the bill. Our shoes meet and exceed
the requirement of the therapeutic shoebill providing
not only an orthopedic shoe, which can be used for
a diabetic, but also a diabetic shoe designed for
the diabetic. The patients notice the difference.
Also available are the Diabetic shoe insert
impression boxes. These boxes are used for the patient
to make an impression of their feet into the foam
included in each box. The box is than sent to us,
and we will make a positive plaster cast of this impression.
A heated blank is then selected and formed over the
cast to provide a custom Diabetic insert.
We recommend our impression boxes to ensure
a quick turn around time. The actual insert is made
from tri-laminate, which gives very clear definition
of the plantar surface. All custom inserts are trimmed
to fit into the appropriate Diabetic shoe selected.
